Do I need a plumber to install it?

Will it lower my water's TDS?
No. This filter is designed to remove chlorine and reduce hardness-causing salts — TDS reduction is not its function, and a low/high TDS reading doesn't reflect how well it's working.
Can I use it with a tap instead of a shower?
Yes, In the rare case where the installation point is especially tight or angled, a separate tap connector (sold separately) — the filter head itself is built for standard shower and tap fittings.
